The Aims & Objectives of Indian Red Cross Society, Karimganj District Branch which is registered under the Indian Red Cross Society Act XV of 1920 (as amended by Act XXII of 1956):

1. 1. Maternity, Child Welfare & Family Welfare work;
   2. Training in Nursing and Para-Medical Works;
   3. Disaster Relief;
   4. Supply of comforts to Hospitals;
   5. Junior Red Cross Work;
   6. Helping the distressed, disabled people specially in matter of treatment of patients suffering from protracted illness;
   7. Health Propaganda and spread of Health Education;
   8. Care of sick and wounded soldiers.
